I have lived at some of the same time as he. Little did we realise when 1984 was written that "Big Brother" would come into being before 1984. I lived through the war in England 1939-45 and I am from a working Class family, but with a Father who was determined to get out of that rut. I have written about him in a well known British Magazine. I am not allowed to mention. Cheers Marj
