I think this request is a simple one.
I wish that the Infinite Improbability Drive was available with the"Life, The Universe, and Everything" next to the search bar at the top of every page. It's a bit cumbersome to navigate back to the home page in order to enjoy that wonderful feature.
I work on a computer all day and spend most of my time randomly searching the guide (the most rewarding way to read it, I do beleive), and it would aid me greatly to be able to click th I.I.D. icon from each random entry rather than going to the home page every time.
It just makes sense.
Thank you for your time.

I guess I could merely highlight the url and hit return, HOWEVER, I would not be able to access the I.I.D. from, say, a searched out edited guide page without going to the home page.

It's a good idea, but there isn't really room at the top to add 'Infinite Improbability Drive' near the L/U/E links... though having an available link to a random entry is a good thing, so we'll give it some thought.
As a quick fix, why not add http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/RandomEditedEntry to your browser's list of favourites - then it'll always just be a click away, even if you're not on h2g2.
