(this Entry needs a complete update, it was outdated 10 years ago)

unfortunately it *does* link to A379451 'Online Role-playing' which is really no good Entry at all because it only talks about a single game and also pretends that online role playing is only about games, which it is not at all... (has to be rewritten completely)

The Role Playing Entry... I would much rather like to see an update for it, because it's definitely not a bad topic. I don't know too much about role-playing myself. I've only done it a few times in games.

Do you think it would be worth starting a thread on Ask and trying to make this a collaborative Entry (if enough people respond)? Thing is, I don't think what we would come up with would have anything to do with the current Entry. This is it wouldn't be an update but rather something completely new which replaces the old.

Yes I think it's worth your while garnering some interest at Ask, we could then create a brand new entry, say "Online Role-playing in the 21st Century" - and leave the original alone, or downgrade the original or update the original. Worth thinking over?

PS I have never done this "role-playing"so I never knew what "noob" meant, it was my youngest son's favourite word and I couldn't bring myself to ask him what it meant.

Well, the original Entry is not about Role Playing at all, it is about a specific game. So either the title should be changed to the name of the game or the Entry should be downgraded.

I'll change the title

Should it be "Avalon or First Age" or "Avalon or Firstage" (so says the header)

or can you think of a more appropriate title? (I'm clueless, remember)

It may even still exist.

I have tweaked the incorrect header accordingly.

I have removed the dead outside link and replaced it with the one above, which is current.
