Shouldn't this page be a Help Page rather than an Edited Entry?

Probably, but there were difficulties with making new pages into Help pages when we took over. I've also looked at the Scouts' home page and that seems to be an ordinary (unedited) Entry.

Lack of time, but we could do with all of these being re-categorised and checked for correct statuses.

I'd also like to find out if there is a difference that would prevent a help page being returned by the IID. I don't expect a help page would be of great interest to a random reader.

sorry - the Scout pages *are* help pages, they just don't appear to be so on Pliny. Even more confusing!!

There are 298 Help Pages in the system as compared with approx 10,500 Edited Entries.

I don't remember the IID ever producing a help page, but it would only do so about 3 times in a hundred, so I might not have noticed.

I hadn't thought to check the Help Pages for valid GuideML, but I suppose I should do.

Gnomon, if you want to help with the Help Pages I think you should talk to those who work on them (much is already sorted in the next incarnation of Pliny). I think it was Magwitch who works on them?

I'm not concerning myself with the Help pages at the moment; I'm just trying to track down and fix any examples of invalid GuideML.

I've just checked the 298 Help Pages and none of them have invalid GuideML.
