I've been requested here F5007955?thread=8281776 to strip out the BBC references in this Entry, which is something I cannot do since it's Edited. Could a kind person please alter the passage:
"An example of the favicon.ico can be seen on h2g2, where the BBC graphic appears in the address bar".
to something suitable for h2g2.com?

I don't think there's a problem linking to BBC sites. It's just that this statement...
"An example of the favicon.ico can be seen on h2g2, where the BBC graphic appears in the address bar."
...is no longer true.
How about:
"An example of the favicon.ico can be seen on h2g2, where the distinctive site logo appears in the address bar" ?

That'll be absolutely fine, as long as the link on 'h2g2' points to here and not the BBC.
