Parts of the Moderation FAQ are out of date

It's not a major problem, but there are parts of the moderation help page which are now incorrect - particularly at the end of section <./>DontPanic-Moderation#4</.>

The last two sentences of that section can simply be deleted, as there is no longer a concept of "legacy"/"pre-BBC" content. More subtly, some of the other explanations seem to rely on context that is no longer there:

"A Posting that has been passed will be visible forever (unless a complaint is made about it and upheld - see below)."
should be
"If a Posting is passed, it will remain visible unless a further complaint is made about it and upheld."

There are also a couple of references to "reactivating" Guide Entries, which aren't all that clear now that the concept of "activated" vs hidden "legacy" material isn't mentioned elsewhere (as presumably it once was).

Like I say, these aren't big deals, but since we're forever being offered links to this part of the FAQ, it might as well be well-written.

Actually, I was looking through it to help decide whether I should Yikes somebody's post (which I've never done before, and decided not to in the end).

But it is linked to from every single hidden posting on site (be it pending, pre-mod, or failed) - so I'd have thought rather a lot of people will potentially be going there to work out what's going on.

Thanks for this. I suspect the confusion over the 'reactvation' issue stems from a stray word that *almost* but not quite changed the meaning of the sentence. Researchers can hide entries and then reactivate them at later dates.
