Are you posting using Ripley (Brunel, Alabaster, Classic Goo, Plain), Pliny or New Pliny?

Yes, I used Pliny too when it failed. I then used Ripley/Alabaster and it was ok.

Were you using a pc, a mac or a smartphone? Which browser?

... but Icy's problem sounds like the one I frequently encounter: that Pliny just eats posts if you take too long to write it. You press 'post' and it's gone and you end up with a fresh, empty reply window.
