H Allicat
I didn't have time - I the only people I saw on Saturday morning were customers and on h2g2 I couldn't think of anything that would suit. Ooo I must be boring.

Hi vegiman Hmmmm - I'm almost intimidated already - is this what's expected from a web page???
I used to get around Kent a bit when I was a kid, but now I get around Sydney (Oz)
as for veggies, I'm a bit of a fan myself, but not an exclusivist; if it had to be one, it would be the spud - so versatile (but why would you look further than the chip)
anyway, thanks for the reply - I feel at home already
(but what do I research?)

Thanks Veg, I will. I think my main problem is subject matter! Too many ideas and nothing coherent! how to start? Zozzi
HI vegiman:-)
Monkey Boy Posted Apr 6, 2000
Ok think of a subject close to your heart. tell us all about it in an article and see if the H2G2 editors want to post it as a bona fida article. either way you'll get plenty of nutters giving you their opinion on what you have to say.
Spread the love

Hi Zozzie Dolittle
Thanks for dropping in - As Monkey Boy says - just write something close to your heart and invite others over to read it - You'll be surprised how helpful they can be. It can be a hobby or maybe something you feel strongly about but avoid the words 'I' and 'you'or writing in the third person style.
Hi fiddler - nice to see you are finding your way around.
Intimidated ! Na - thats whats great about this place you do just what you want. If you want to learn how to make up a page, there are many out thee who will jump at the chance to help you.
Most of us did not know how to do it when we started and started with just simple things, but over the months it begins to take shape. Good luck and have fun - if you need any help just call and If I cant help you - I know a man who can.
I recently had an article accepted on Flies - beforehand I didn't have a clue about them. Its best to start by writing about things you know about, I did this with vegetable racks. I am slighlty dyslexic, so if I an do it - you can.
Hi Alicat & Monky Boy - nice to have you drop by and answer the above in my absence - thanks
You are alway welcome.

Always happy to help. Hi vegiman. I'd like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to a great party, with wonderful people, at the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel in Niagara Falls. There is unlimited food, drink and friendship. It's a celebration of life. There's a virtual tour and web-cam, and a couple of floors booked to party in. It's been pretty cloudy lately but we expect sunshine soon. Everyone's welcome. http://www.h2g2.com/forumframe.cgi?forum=18878&thread=45311 Please join in.

Hey Radioactive Manboy
Yes I was over on your page yesterday and left my mark. Did you know that you have 3 postings on your page - just under the 'Discuss this Entry. That is the place to look to see if anyone has contacted you.
Nice to see you have braved, dipping your toe into the waters, so to speak and made a few postings. I am honoured that I am one of your first.
Thanks for poppong in and I have read your journal - you seem to have a great sense of humour
I liked your article on the Universe and I think it could make a good guide entry with a bit of brushing up - Hopefuly without losing any of the wit that is there. check it up in the index to see if there are any similar articles before thinking of submitting it though.
I am not so sure about the Planets one, cos it is a bit Douglas Adams like - makes a great read but not as an official guide entry
Thanks again for popping by - catcha soon
