AS much as I hate to have to agree with you... or that sentiment... I think that unfortuantely that is sadly teh case; we asked on HooToo what people wanted at meets... the answers were mainly wishy washy type things with very little of definate vertue, the date change was one which we've now done, and that doesn't seem to have achieved anything, MMF is setting up more organised afternoon events and that hasn't seemed to make much a differnce either we've advertised wehreever we can on ask and in journals and in our names on site, plus been on the front page and on the upcoming meet page plus got coverage not long ago after the last meet in the post, which had a bit at the end where it said people shoudl add 'london meet' user to their friends list so to get journal entrys on that page about meets pop up in their PS... and none of its made a single iota of a differnce...

True, I always worry with some people going to such lengths (and no doubt expense ) to attend a meet hope they find it woth their time oh... BTW we don't appear to have a quizz for the meet at the moment, but then again I've not heard anything from whateverhe'scallednow about weather he can come to drop off any goodies or not I did ask a question on teh meet page about the quizz but I don't think its got a reply

Cripes! I forgot to mention Zoomer. That puts UK researchers into perspective somewhat.

I wonder whatever happened to all teh Dutch resurchers who used to come to the meets when they were still Italic orgnaised.... used to get quite a bunch of em, they'd kinda take over a hotel in London for the wekend Actually I wonder how much of the drop in numbers is people having left the site?; Thinking about people like EV and Fords who used to come a fair bit and I guess others who's circumstances ave changed

If it was my journal entry about there not being enoug people I'd actually really want to see to make it worth my going, I wouldn't normally feel that way but I've been very ill recently n didn't feel up to dragging myself up to London just to feel uncomfortable rather than with friends.
