HHGTTG Radio Show

I personally enjoy the radio show as much as I enjoy the books, perhaps this is because I encountered the radio show first and then read the books.
played the game.
watched the show.....etc. you know what I mean.

I haven't seen the show yet, and I haven't heard of the game (unless you mean this Guide)

no there is a game in which you have to solve puzzles like how to escape the volgon ship, it is really quite old and If you search around you can get it off the internet

Its old, really old. Actually it is sort of fun to fool around with it- there are no graphics but It is actually pretty hard. Some things are pretty funny too.

Any idea where I might get it?
And are you, as your name suggests, a duplicate of an archeologist stranded on a distant planet made of shoes?

I cant seem to find the site where I bought it, but after a little searching i rememner I found a place where I could download it for only a couple bucks. Its made by Infocom if that helps your search at all.
As to the show, I thought it was pretty bad, but an experience.
And no, i got off of the shoe planet and hitchhiked over to the HHG towers where I signed up to be a researcher. No sign of any sisters yet, other researchers are keeping an eye out for me but the Alitneils seem to have been quite effective.

Are they going to make a movie soon? I heard that Peter Jones (the voice of the Guide from the Radio show) died, and the film would be pretty pathetic without his voice doing "The Book".
You'll have to post a notice to the other Lintillas, telling them not to sign any marriage certificates that are declarations to cease to be...

yes i had heard that Peter Jones died, but I had not made the connection to the movie. You are right, it wont be the same without him as the book. I wonder what they will do.
Good Idea about the post I will get onto that. Have to warn any possible sisters!
Oh /I had heard that the movie is coming out sometime in the next year or so but i dont know how true that is. I hope that the movie stays true to the originals but it is exciting.
Any luck finding a copy of the game yet?

Not yet, and I won't be able to for another 2 weeks - I'm on holiday, so if I'm not posting anything, don't get angry because I'm trying to get a sun-tan in Wales (as if that's possible...)

Actually I just get sunburnt, and that's when it's stopped raining...
I'm the Seer of the Coming of the True Brownie. I have a job until it arrives...

I love the radio 4 show and I first heard it when I was about 8 or 9.
I recently bought the box set.

Actually Phord, I think thats how old I was when I first heard the show!
I own a copy of it as well, but I think I will need to get a new one soon because the tapes are wearing out.
Suppose it will ever get put onto CD?
