Hereby I claim the name Kyra for one of my novels to be. I've googled for it, and it doesn't seem to be widely used.

Hmph, I've just learnt that Kyra is usually pronounced Keera, which isn't what I'm looking for, at all.

Kiyra is a bit redundant as a spelling, isn't it? the letter Y is effectively an IJ combination in itself.

Why not Kira to rhyme with Mira ("My-ra")
