Hi, big al!smiley - smiley Nice to meet you!

Tolkien, yeah, I just finished re-reading the whole tale about the Ring, because I discovered I had forgotten most details since I last read it.

May the smiley - fish be with you, and may you always have your towel with you

Hi Zed!smiley - smiley

Well known? I don't know, this festival is usually catching up trends BEFORE they become trends - but Eric Gadd is pretty well known, at least in Sweden, that is...

Outstanding band? Yep, the Yat-Kha with their mix of Tuvinian "throat-singing" and rock.
Tuvinia? End of Trans Siberian Railway, and a bit further
"Throat-singing"? Described as "with stomach muscles pressing forth a deep bordune tone, and simultaneously creating an overlaying melody by changing the size and shape of your mouth". Sort of singing duet, with yourself... fascinating...

May the smiley - fish be with you

Wait just a second! Wasn't Titania the Queen of the Faries? Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you charge should be Cobweb and Mustardseed, not Legolas and the like. (And my humblest apologies if I am indeed wrong.)

Greetings, Cenchrea!smiley - smiley

Since there is no really good description of what characterizes a fairy in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', and because it's usually a bit difficult to tell the exact difference between a fairy and an elf, definitions sometimes crossing, I preferred Tolkien's definition.

But you're right about no Titania existing in the works of Tolkien, so there's no need to apologise.

And as for personalities, I do feel more inclined towards the people of Lothlorien, but I didn't want to adapt a personality already existing.

So I created my own mix: a little piece of Shakespeare's and a little bit of Tolkien's work, adding a big piece of ME, making 'Titania, queen of elves' a creature unique in herself.

I hope you feel this explanation acceptable.

May the smiley - fish be with you

I'm a big fan of Tolkien as well, I've even got the books about the books. Anyway did you ever read something from Feist, I like his writing as well.

Feist? No, I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that writer. Are those books similar to Tolkien's?

Arutha( patron saint of personal magnetism )

no, but there both fiction and that's where I got the name Arutha from. He has written some series and prob. his most famous was the one that started of with the book called Magicians.

There writing style isn't exactly the same, but it has some similiar things. But comp. different is the way they see the world in perspective to the rest of the galaxy.
