No, no, it's not you not being memorable, it's just that if you were to scan my brain, you'd discover that the area for memorizing names is extremely small, probably shrinked because the area for memorizing numbers is extremely big.
I can remember all social security numbers (if that's what it's called in English) of all my family members, all account numbers I ever had in private, as well as the companies' I've been working for. Not to mention phone numbers... but connecting those with a name....nope, sorry, just doesn't work...
It is a source of embarrasment to me, I get a complete black-out in the name department every now and then, even when bumping into friends... good friends... close friends... but then they're used to it, no offense taken.
I guess that makes another perfect reason for me to be the Muse of Confusion...

Perhaps, O Great Regent, you could try assigning people numbers in your head and filing their name under the number?

The 'filing of names' bit would have to be on paper, impossible to store in MY brain...

Titania: LOL!! Does that way of remembering actually work? I usually remember the situation in which I met people, so I only have to think of the situation when I'm not sure about certain people. Always works for me.
Zed: Things are great, although very busy atm. Working, rebuilding the small bar in Het Kasteel and organizing the Dutch meet. Never had more fun though
