Woo-hoo!
Same boat- my father has finally allowed me to have my ears pierced again. I've just gotta make an appointment

Thing about me is the place where I go to have mine done happens to be my best friend's mum, who does ear piercing in her salon, which is located in the extension of their house, so I have to make sure that my mum has given 100% consent, as if anything happens both our parents do talk, she hasn't given the ok yet, but she's aware I really want it, so all I have to do is convince her, which I think I've already done 50% of, I'll have to get her to say ok by tomorrow as I have to book it.......

It'll be a right laugh though as I'm hoping to have it done on Tuesday and I've got to phone my friend that day to make final arrangements of how I'm staying the weekend at her place, and I remember when I had them done the first time it was a good 12 hours before my ears went back to "normal"

And she's changed her mind.....says "no way, I don't want to look at it, I've got enought with your big sister and her body piercings..."

Never mind, I'll start begging again in 2 weeks when my best mate comes back from holiday-it's her mum who does the ear piercings, maybe she would have cooled it by then. I also intend to dye my hair red, already I've got some red hair mascara but that comes off and it stinks awfully. I told my mum of my hair colour intentions and she's trying to put me off, as she knows I can do it without her permission, thing is she let my sister do it when she was 16/17, and I'm only going to do it with one of those washes out in 3-4 washes! I'm gonna make sure I do that one.....

Your mum won't let you do it with the wash in ones?
Jeez, I've been using those since primary 7...

The thing is my mum survived my sister and she says she regrets not recognising the early signs, which she claims she can see in me now, but I warned her the more she stops me now the more outrageous I'll be when I am master of my own life in 3 and a half years time....My friend dyed her hair red not so long ago, and it looked like her scalp was really sore! Lol!
Back to the ears issue I feel like I'm the only person who wants it and isn't allowed, everyone else who wants it has had it done already...
