The main reason to not use the post article is I cannot actually edit it - it's the PostEditors. It is also wrong and gives a few wrong links. But I can use most of the information in it, and adapt it, to create a working version.
I'm very curious about this bridge - can you give me a link to it? I'd like to know what it is and what's going on with it.
The whole map thing I can imagine is very complicated. Afterall, the river is supposed to flow through the Municipal Park which seems to be everywhere... Overall, though, I think you've done a better job than anyone could have expected of you.

The park is no problem. It is "everywhere not otherwise defined".
The bridge's existence is complicated. You need to go down the sewers to find that when Styx clambered out of the disputed outlet/inlet, he then swam across the river and went home through an oak forest.
From this I deduced that Crater Labs and The Sewers (and hence the town) are on opposite sides of the river. Hence, there must be a bridge so that the inhabitants of CLI and associated buildings can get to the F&F, Aroma Cafe etc.
In the mean time, Gedge posed his "bridge puzzle" in the F&F and EV alluded to this in the main bar during the DD poisoning debacle. However, anyone not familiar with the pub quiz thread would have assumed that EV was referring to a Town Bridge of some sort that DD was expected to cross shortly.
(Presumably DD had business over the other side of the river. We will assume he went to look at his spare yacht in the boat yard. He sounds like a man who would need a spare yacht.)
There you have it. Town Bridge in existence.
Phew

Now you've done it. I was supposed to be doing the housework in honour of my birthday (tomorrow ) but what am I going to do instead? Yes, that's right, I'm going to sketch another map.

Styx the Rat Posted Jul 26, 2000
heh heh heh Graphic Ant! that's funny! Good name!
The Ant Lady knows lots of tricks and the pictures are pretty, but not thinking outside the box with map.
Once I was away from your sewercams you don't know how I got home. Once I jump in the water of the stream I should do a uturn? Only if the stream I jump into is the same as your river. Why assume that? Your river doesn't have tributaries?
Irving Washington is Bluebottle's good buddy or not? Irv says there a hole in storeroom wall of aroma cafe goes into waterworks swimming pool area.
I don't want credit for bridge. Don't know anything about bridge. CLI don't know anything about bridge.
sniff sniff
Food is a nice thing, but too many poisonings in campaign. Wise rat eats at home.

Thank you Styx for further ideas. I have put a second draft up but in the light of your comments I will move the river close to the Boat Yard Road and remove the Harbour Bridge and the Harbour Road. I can then put a Store Room on the boundary between the café and the pool and there will be enough room for Crater Labs to be between the café and the river.
I will introduce a stream running from top right to join the river somewhere or other.
Any idea where Moxonwood is?

Wrong addresses for pictures. Should be virgin.net in all cases. A bit of a typo. Sorry.

Look out back window at Food Lady's place. Big apes live in there on mountainside. People say so when waiting to go on safari.
I found this in the low cave. You can have it.

Thank you, EC. That's very kind of you.
We'll have to form a Pests Club: you, Styx, myself, Bluebottle ...

I thought Moxonwood was formed by the genetically modified acorns from the bond forum to defeat the rabbits that were trying to collapse Mount SandEverest and kill everyone on the beach. I'll find the forum and leave a link...

Hi Amy - just wondering, are you still planning on making the Waterworks map into a clickable image?

Strange you should ask that. As you were posting this, I was posting in the other map thread.
