Well, i have no previous experience but I do have the "Teach yourself Photoshop in 24 hours" book, a v good series and I catch on pretty quickly. Plus, I've got a whole summer to teach myself...

What's the difference between fenny-fish and forum-fish?

The story goes thus...
In the beginning, there were forum fish, and we were all happy. Then, a h2g2 tech-guy came upon us, and he had blue fish! And twas bad...
The humble people of h2g2 wished in vain that they could also use the blue fish, but twas in vain, and the h2g2 tech guy triumphed in his quest to monopolise the blue fish.
And then, the saviour (fenny) came down upon us, and offered /custom-made fish/ and since then, we have all had our own fish.... the forum fish are your bog-standard 
things (or is it 
?)... fenny fish are individual... mine's at the save the h2g2 fish page, if you want to take a look at an example. (It's linked to from my userpage under the big picture of the fish, if you can't find it any other way)...
