Welcome to the pleasant, relaxing air of the H2G2 fountain, where you can sit back and watch the pleasant trickle of the water without the irritation of needing the loo that real fountains and waterfalls bring.

I'm glad you enjoy it! It seems to be taking off quite well, but not many people have lurked into the sewer yet!

I think the giant alligator has scared them off......

There is supposed to be a giant one, but no-one's seen it yet.

Just what I need right now, some place to sit and take it all in.

Yes, it is very relaxing here - and not at all crowded. Very pleasant.
How did the shopping go?

Really? When Peregrin & I went on Saturday it was terrible - rain and a huge crowd. But then, I guess we were asking for it on the second Saturday before Christmas on Oxford/Regent Streets...

Yes, I heard that tube-station mentioned... Forgive my ignorance, but I've no idea about that place. What's it like there?

I could easily get lost there, but I had a tour guide. There are plenty of shops there though.

I get horribly lost in London if I can't see an underground station. Although I think I can remember the Strand quite well now.

I think I can find my way back to H2G2 main office. Peta said we can visit if we give her plenty of warning and e-mail her - I may well do that one day

Menza Posted Dec 14, 1999
Grim Squeeker said that she had offered, I might see if I can do that one day.

I definately want to - afterall, I'm curious to see exactly what it's all about and how it's done. Ian says it won't be anything extra special, but I'd still like to see it.

It'll be an office full of computers, with people typing. Perhaps one or two of the computers will have their cases off, and there will be a pile of dirty coffee cups next to the printer. We've all been there.
