I think it is very wrong to say that there is no mention of life outside of earth in the bible and that it would call into question humanity's whole belief structure.
Many portions of the bible discuss life in heaven. One of the book's for instance tells us that God has a 1000, 1000's ministering to him, and 10000 times 10000 standing before him.
That certinally shapes my perseption of wheather there is life out there. y e s t h e r e i s. Millions and millions of wonderful powerful loyal obedient spirit creatures (life in another form, not human)who put them selves at God's service . We most likely could learn a lot about living in this universe from them. I bet you heaven is not a dump fouled with every kind of rubbish and all for the sake of a few quick bucks.
