Gnomon - time to move on Posted Jul 16, 2011
I recognised Olympia and the Corinth Canal in your photos. I'm dying to hear all about the trip.

I had an awesome time, thanks, and yes, we went on the Corinth Canal, serendipitously being in the same place and at the same time as Sir Paul
Sorry you'll have to wait for the full report, I've not finished unpacking/putting away and catching up with a week's-worth of housework I also still have to upload my photos to Picasa for the people not on my Facebook friends list

Thanks all it's not the full collection by any means, Scorp, I am currently clueless as to how to transfer the photos on my mobile phone (which works without a flash, so I was able to use it indoors) to Picasa. I have managed to upload them to Facebook because I can email them individually to my Fb account via email messaging. There are images of sunrise over the Aegean (in steps) and a blazing fireball sunset which I am very proud of. Also there are images from inside the monastery on Mykonos, and inside the museum at ancient Olympia. And a towel lobster (I kid you not)

Sunrise was over the Ionean Sea, sunset was over the Aegean. OK I have managed to add the Aegean sunset fireball and the towel lobster for your delight

I got the last lot of wonderful pics; but usually get them via flickr; which is much easier for me.

there were moments on the trip when I thought of all my friends, "so-and-so would love this..." etc. In a way you were all there with me
