Gordon has bought us tickets to go see Gerry & the Pacemakers (and supporting act The Searchers) on 23 Oct. I am almost beside myself with excitement, I tried to see Gerry in the 60s when they came to Cleethorpes but I was too young, so I feel like I'm all grown up now.

I hope you have a wonderful time!

It's not the music that'll make you feel old - it'll be all the silver hair in the audience smiley - biggrin

Sounds wonderful. That really takes me back, and I was old enough smiley - biggrin The music scene was so alive and innocent then, by today's 'standards' at least smiley - smiley

What a classic smiley - applause

There's been a lot of fuss about using Jerusalem for the English anthem in the Commonwealth Games. You know, I think YNWA might be better.
