I took along Tigger (a from you lot) and Winnie (from me) but Al told me we weren't allowed to take toys in the baby unit so I left them at their place, ready for when he goes home.
OK, who went ahead of me and put a copy of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy *the film edition* paperback (which I've not read) in the family room? Inside the back cover was a photo of Douglas I'd not seen before.
When we went in the canteen someone had stuck "GB" stickers on all the coke bottle labels...it felt like I was getting and from all over the
When we were leaving guess who was just arriving? Daughter #2 which wasn't planned and a total bonusAnd the sun shone all day.

Thanks for the photos GB,
Take care of them, especially Jenny. Please keep us posted.
Take care of yourself too,

Couldn't she have stayed in with the baby, or is the litte one still ensconced in an incubator?
Welcome to the world, Harrison Allan
Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Oct 12, 2008
He's in the SCBU, in an incubator, hooked up to a breathing machine, tubes everywhere
The parents can't stay, there's a family room, but no beds. Jenny is expressing her milk and labelling it and intending taking it in every day.

Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Oct 13, 2008
it is a sad situation and the only comfort is it could have been worse
here's hoping mother and baby can get home soon

I agree Pierce. Mother and baby should be together soon, whether at home or in hospital. Poor kid.

Well, I can't quite believe that Harrison is 2 years old today I don't know about you lot
Luckily they're coming over to Cleethorpes today, so I'll give the little family from you lot

Heavens, where did the time go. Please do give and to the two year old. He is a battler.
Oh, and thanks for updating the thread on a happy note, rather than starting a new one

There is nothing wrong with his eyes BTW. I always have problems fixing the red eye when I take photos indoors. Don't have a problem outside, but I guess that's because the flash doesn't go off
Welcome to the world, Harrison Allan
Websailor Posted Oct 9, 2010
I can remove the 'redeye' once the photo is on the computer which is a great help, especially with baby photos
s to see photo. I am not allowed to put my granddaughter on the Internet!

Mat? Are you looking at photo 21? We were in the pub and he was in the pub high chair, having just opened my "Harrisonosaurus" money box
I did fix the red eye after I uploaded it to the computer, but his eyes still look odd to me on the photos. I just wanted to explain that his eyes are perfect, off camera
Welcome to the world, Harrison Allan
Websailor Posted Oct 10, 2010
No, Nos 13-16 I think we can see the eyes are ok, just a tiny touch of red eye. It is difficult to pin point them on small pix without risking the eye disappearing altogether.

Here's my handsome grandson on his 12th birthday (I'll try not to let 10 years go by before I post here again!)
