So after much wailing and gnashing of teeth I've now received the results of my OU philosophy course and I've passed (with a pass 3 which is a 2.2).
Given how much I whinged, moaned and cried during this one, I would have been happy just to scrape a pass and avoid a resit. As it happens I got a good grade on the exam so that was good. (If only I had submitted a whole essay for the 4th part, and actually submitted anything at all for the 5th part...)
so that's it. There will be no more study of philosophy - except political philosophy - in my future. That is me done with it forever.

It marks me being 2/3 through my degree and I now only have 2 level 3 (ie. third year) modules to do. That means 2 more years and I'm done

You will probably find that your decision to shun philosophy comes back to bite you when your eldest grandchild reaches the age of 8

as long as my 8 year old grandchild doesn't ask me to imagine I'm a bat, or insist that pocket watches indicate the existence of a god, I'm fine with that.
I love philosophy. But I hated that course.
