Well! How did that happen?

Seems I've been hanging about these parts for 9 years.
9 years of Classic Goo isn't enough. I'm not so miffed about missing out on the new smilies (although I'm sure it's part of a drive to get people away from Classic Goo before we get the new-look h2g2</conspiracy theory>
Anyway, I've made some great friends, attended one or two meet-ups and - gasp! - even written the odd entry or two.
And then there is the World Famous Drool Thread.
Let's have a party!

I'd know idea you'd been about that long. (Although I probably said that last year, but still... )
Anyway, good thing you have. The Moenchengladbach Ghastly Christmas Music Meet wouldn't have been the same without you.

hi GT - I'm well. And you? I see you're back to stay
KB... DID YOU HAVE TO MENTION THE MUSIC?
let's have some and try to forget...

I'm fine thanx!
I just lurk from thread to thread, sticking my two pennyworth from time to time!

Forget? Hell no. I'm counting the days until December, Gluehwein, Wham! and balsa wood angels already.

How do you know exactly how long you've been a member? (Congrats on 9 years, by the way!)

What 'date on my PS'? There's no date there, just the time of my last posting. Is this dependent on the skin you use? I'm on alabaster, btw.

Try flipping to brunel, just to check the date at the top. I don't use alabaster, so I wouldn't know!
Well! How did that happen?

Gotcha! It says 'Created 26th July 1999', which must be my joining date. So my 10th anniversary is 2 months away. Doesn't time fly?
Well! How did that happen?

Remember the music at the Düsseldorf meet? - The Jolly Young lads with their oompah music?
And - CONGRATULATIONS to you!!!
Hang on in there with the Goo. We're not alone. The drum roll works, so the others might eventually.
Well! How did that happen?
Cheerful Dragon Posted May 29, 2009
I've included my joining date in the 'Introduction' on my Personal Space. Now everybody can see how 'old' I am!

Happy Hootooversary, Sho! I'm glad I've gotten to know you over some of those years. I had my seventh Hootooversary just a couple weeks ago.
