Do women lurk? It sounds typically male to me. Isn't there another word. (Don't say eavesdrop!)
~drool~
Sho - employed again! Posted Feb 25, 2004
Lurking doesn't seem like a womanly persuit, we're far more likely to jump in and say something.
especially in a thread full of female -ers!
Fynn... 30? You stripling!
So, how about this: how did you find the DroolThread? Or, as in my case, did the Drool
Thread find you?
This all started, for those not in the know, when GB and I (and maybe a few others?) were over Tyr on the Andromeda thread. GB thought, and she's probably right, that our
- back in the days before the
was invented - might annoy those who wanted to talk seriously about the show without being sidetracked by pecs, abs, dreads and one armed pull ups
that's without mentioning the fact that he growls...

Some women lurk
As for Mr P, I believe him to be extremely busy learning to be a teacher, but rest assured he is doing fine...
~drool~
Coniraya Posted Feb 25, 2004
I wish some of my teachers had learnt to be teachers!
Nice to see you, White Hart, it's a while since you dropped by, tell Mr P he is missed.

Just for the record - the thread was started on 3 Sept 2001, I didn't get a word in edgeways until post 61 and Tyr was first mentioned in post 6. The very first post was fantasising about Chakotay and Seven. Not bad taste, I would say.
Although the last episode of Voyager I saw was about Seven being taken back to the Borgs because they had sent her to the Voyager to find out about humans. The Queen Borg made Jeri Ryan look asexual. Despite the green light and sliminess of her, she has a look about her. Powerful vibes for what is practically supposed to be a machine.
Still, Data doesn't do too bad either, and boy does that android have character.
I can't remember if I came to this thread by invitation (I think possibly Sho invited me) or whether I stumbled along on my own (it may have been a link in the - now defunct - thread in Ask the Community)

"and one armed pull ups"?
attack! Jeez!
Okay, pulling myself together again. Okay.
I nearly got to see Robert Downey Jr. yesterday since a friend took me to the German premiere of "Gothica". Red carpet and all. But Robert didn't make it - much to the disappointment of my friend - and we only got to see Halle Berry.

Coely is most definitely a female .
Tyr and one armed pull-ups? Growling?
You should see the size of and hear the chaps at my gym! Mind you, I suppose they grunt more than growl and it is a shame their faces aren't as lovely as Tyr's. They are also lacking in the dreadlocks department too. Perhaps, it would be a good idea if I just shut up?
We watched Calendar Girls last night. It was very funny but I don't think that I would buy a copy to keep.

coelacanth Posted Feb 26, 2004
So we've all established I'm a her. I am *a* regular lurker, but I'm not *the* Regular Lurker.
Scuse me while I over the front cover of next week's Oscars special Radio Times. The pic for the inside article is even better. *swoon*
~drool~
Swiv (decrepit postgrad) Posted Feb 26, 2004
I keep admiring the Jude Law on the front when I walk past copies of it... might have to drop round to friend-with-the-telly's to have a peek inside.
am preparing to over all the nice men in dress-up at the Oscars mmmmmmm
can't remember how/when I first joined this thread - it was linked over from somewhere else but I can't remember that either.
Oh, and I'm 22.

Coniraya Posted Feb 26, 2004
You'll have to blame Gwennie for my appearance in post 29 to join the over Tyr.
I was ing over the houses in Relocation Relocation last night. The couple looking had over £500,000 odd to spend in Yorkshire and the houses were gorgeous.

Tefkat Posted Feb 26, 2004
oh my. wish I'd seen that. we decided to splash out and watch Bruce Almighty on Box Office last night so I didn't see any regular progs.
the front cover of RT is nice isn't it?
. I hadn't noticed it before - too busy swooning over the front cover of the new Sky mag.
~drool~
Sho - employed again! Posted Feb 26, 2004
I haven't seen the RT or Sky... wait, isn't The Deppster on Sky
Jude Law... sometimes I don't like him. But I think that in Enemy At The Gates (I think I may have only mentioned this 100 times before) he was verrryyyy sexy.
Thanks Wite Hart for the update on Mr.P.
OK got to go and fix zips in anoraks - flamin' Gruesomes, they were fighting and both ripped their zips.
And then it's over the wee Aussie copper in The Bill
My -ing knows no age limits!

If you're worried, you can always drop me an email, but thanks for the concern
In the general spirit of honesty ravaging this thread:
I'm Mr P., or in real life, Luke. I was born shortly before Star Wars came out, and have probably been reassured of my paternal parentage more often than anyone else in history.
I have no sprogs of my own, but I am - as WH says - in training to look after yours and mould them into my unstoppable army of righteousness.
Oh, and I write fan fiction.

Sho - employed again! Posted Feb 26, 2004
you want more e-mail from me? You'll have to wait. I have to fic Sam/agent Barrett for a friend, and I keep having to watch him. Which makes me
And I still can't get over you wanting to be a teecher...eep. But you were a little off in your description of yourself: you write fab fic. You have fans, you know. Some who even pester your beta reader on your behalf to pull her dratted finger out and finish them up already!
Are the Oscar thingies being shown on UK tv? Where should I look. If anyone spots -boy and The Deppster and then casually mentions that they weren't recording ...
you can run but you can't hide!
~drool~
Gwennie Posted Feb 27, 2004
S'cuse my igorantz but when are the Oscars? I assume one night next week as the Radio Times is running a feature on them...
~drool~
Methos (one half of the HHH Management) Posted Feb 27, 2004
The thing with Captain Jack Sparrow and the boy at the Oscars is - is the Capation even making an appearence? When he didn't appear for the Critics Choice Awards - he won. Maybe he thinks if he doesn't go to the Oscars...
Did I mention that I want him to win? Although Sean Penn will probably make it, and I just don't understand how Jude Law could make it on that list.
Don't get me wrong - I adore Jude Law. But his role in Cold Mountain - he doesn't have to do that much. I'm glad he thinks about this the same.
And Mr. P, you write fan fiction? Where, what, how?
Oh, and Sho, I got the video yesterday and oh my god - the boy has got to have the most perfect skin colour ever. And the hair...
Thanks again! And thanks for Eomer!

I remember hearing they're on Sunday. - 29th . Somehow I forgot to forget, which is now coming in useful. I just love men dressed up in nice smart dark suits. It really makes such a difference. Even my kids spend a long time in front of the mirror when they're dressed up for a wedding or family do.
And at their proms - well, me and my thing about 18-year-olds. I didn't know where to look first. The girls looked fabulous and I'd have dragged any of those boys behind the bicycle sheds. Pity I'm 30 years too old.
Please put me out of my misery. Who is on the front of the Sky TV mag?
