I never get tired of looking at your astronomy photos, Elektra
My sister texted me at 3am to say they'd seen a fireball (they were collecting her daughter from the airport), the text woke me (I'm subscribed to aurora text alerts so have to go read) I went to look outside and all I saw in the not-quite-dark blue sky was solid cloud cover except for the bright 3/4 moon. It was beautiful, like a beacon, the only thing in the sky, not a star to be seen. The sunset last night was staggering, thick bands of multi-coloured cloud, I uploaded a few photos to Facebook. We must live on the best planet in the entire galaxy!
