How are you, sweetie. Thanks for reading my journal entry! I really didn't intend for it to be a riff on vegatarianism.
Here is a goodie for you:

Thanks, I love seeing the sun in different wavelengths and colours
We're all fine, thank you! I saw Ian's Mum (Eileen) on Monday and I'm seeing her tomorrow as well, while my Mum is at the Curzon Centre. Today she got a bit confused, asking me if I remembered an interview she had while she was in the Red Cross. In WW2. The was even before she married my Dad. I told Ian later and he laughed! (It'll be my turn tomorrow, when that elderly lady who normally doesn't give Eileen the time of day, goes and sits next to her when Ian walks in... just so she can join in the chit-chat)

Gosh,it is a shame that someone has to go to those lengths to get attention---but maybe her family doesn't visit her often. I hope Ian's mum is feeling OK. The flu has killed a number of people here in North Carolina already this year.

There are other visitors as well as us, I rather think she regards him as a handsome young man
We're hopeful Eileen will make her 100th birthday in October. I already know how to order a congratulations card from the British Monarch 'cos I wrote the h2g2 Entry
Must go get my own Mum ready for her trip to the Curzon Centre
