Hi Galaxy Babe,
I need to ask you something.
My little circle of critics has gone suddenly silent on me, and I wondered if this had anything to do with your and 'Jimsters' kind intervention? (Who I didn't realise, initially, seems to be an extremely large planet in the galaxy's system.)
I'm totally unfamiliar with this submission process, but am I to take it that my scribbles now have some sort of unofficial seal of approval and are just waiting for the 7-day incubation period to pass, or are they quietly sliding into a wordsmith's black hole?
Either way, what do you advise I do next?
There are some things in the piece that I'm not entirely sure about (I've made one rather major change at the beginning), on which I would like a few opinions, but do these get sorted out later or should I try to revive the peer group's interest?
Many thanks,
Nick.

Hi SAS-MULE
You could post and say what you have changed (the introduction/ added a paragraph/ trimmed something) and inviting further opinion.
If no-one responds, it's just a case of waiting for a Scout to select it. There's no need to revive the thread because that's not the way the Scouts work..
<>I'm not going to let him forget that description yes Jimster is the big cheese around these parts, anything "bold and italic" in the user name is "official" BBC employee-types. On Jimster's PS is a badge which says "Official BBC Staff"
The rest of us are Researchers like yourself, the ones with badges (like me) have earned them through the volunteer schemes.
Thanks for dropping by

Hi,
Thanks for that. I've posted a note to the 'peer forum', and will see what happens. If nothing, I'll just let the piece float off into outer orbit and wait for gravity to have some effect. (Not sure if these galactic analogies are a desperately good idea! From what you say, technically Jimster is the big black hole at the centre of the spiral, but I somehow doubt he'd like that image.)
Bye for now

I've just read your Christopher Reeve entry. I'm not going to say this on the thread, 'cos just at the moment I think it would be mildly inappropriate, but I think it's fascinating, perfectly researched, and beautifully written. And hellish sad.
Many congratulations!

Pardon? What on earth's wrong with the title?
Seemed rather a good one to me, 'cos it says it all!

Further to my last:
Just read the thread. See what you mean!!! Jeez.
Opti is the little horror who ordered me out Peer Review. I don't think she'd read my piece either.
Ah, well.
