I try to change it back and am told the old version is too long.
The best I can get now is

Can;t say I see this as an improvement.

Sadly, the next tranche of BBC cutbacks looks likely to see the tag length reduced to 29 characters. I know that Sam and Zelmo are very unhappy about this, and are holding out for 34 characters - the best they believe they can secure.
I'm going to stick to 17 characters from now on - just in case the same happens to me, Clive

That is indeed bad news Icy, I didn't know that. Maybe the community should be warned now in a casual kind of way. I'd hate to see the community's reaction if we get told at the same time as the redesign is launched (which should otherwise be a positive event).
