The fabulous documentary series "Museum of Life" - exploring some of the wonders of the Natural History Museum in London - is being repeated again on BBC 1 this morning at 2.00am. Part 1 is today/tomorrow - just set your videos/digiboxes/sky+s.
I missed most of of the series last time, so am really glad it's coming back and just wanted to spread the word!

Net. History Museum, London..
Wonderful place. Went there many times in the 70s when I was in RAF at West Drayton (Old LATCC and Linesman/Mediator Centre)
The Dinosaur in the entrance hall hits you as you walk in!!!

Should go again. Some of the new exhibits in The Darwin Centre are just fantastic.

Entry is free.
And I bet there's a cheap way of getting to London if you looked.
But I'm off to bed so shall leave you to ponder (and google)

Haven't had time to get back to it. Will do but I'm a bit busy!

I watched most of this series the first time, and, yes, it's brilliant - the best of this genre.
DNA's old mate Mark Carwardine is particularly good. I wonder if the BBC is grooming him to be the next David Attenborough?

I too wondered distantly about that. I wonder if he got the bug after doing the "Last Chance" redux with Stephen Fry.
I can see it working, even though the Great man himself is utterly irreplaceable. I'm glad though he's moven away from delivering his monologues strapped half-way a tree, and now just does the voice-overs like on Planet Earth.
Even more on the plus side is seeing so many of the BBCs science team out in force in one programme.
I'll say this for the beeb, they are performing marvels for popular science education.
