What I wouldn't give for some hot socks right now. 
On the other hand I have a sticking cold at the moment 
so probably wouldn't matter anyway. My head feels like it's made out of concrete, and my ears keep issuing annoying burbling sounds and peeps and whistles as the pressure tries to equalise.
Best I can look out for is another mug of lemsip and an early night....

got any ginger beer/ ale
whack some in a mug and nuke it, wonderfull for colds
same with the socks
in the nuke with a mug of water(safety device)for a min or two and onto clean dry feet and you will feel better

yes thats good but you must take into consideration thwe mixing of alcohol and medicine,
lemsips are loaded with paracetamol, whiskey is 40%, so you are limited to ammounts when taking and or mixing
hot ginger beer you can gulp till the cows come home

I mean I'm on the Lemsip now so no whisky for me (and I don't like it in any case) we'll let the paracetamol works it's mojo on the pressure that's currently trying to force the entire contents of my inner ear through my ear drum.

a couple of ibuprofen half an hour after the lemsip helps as well(check the lamsip label first, in case its already there, max strength sort of stuff)
