Yes, it's less painful. No more sharp pains.
It is however still very blood-shot and watery (both signs my immune system is having a fight on it's hands, so in a way a good sign) and it's still swollen (ditto) but the swelling is down from yesterday, I can now at least open it. Yesterday it was so puffed up I looked like I'd gone 3 rounds with Rocky Balboa. 
I'm now on the 3 dosage daily administration of topical optical antibiotic Chloramphenicol. The same stuff that was under the pad yesterday but now just not under pressure.
Next dose is at midnight, and I'm due back at the hospital at 9 o clock on Monday.
