I have invested in some pumpkins and downloaded some nifty designs from the web, also bought a decent set of carving tools and some artificial lights - oh and a power tool attachment for a drill to clear out all the stringy gunge inside.
Yes, this halloween I am going to be carving*:
Boris Karloff as Frankenstein's Monster 
A Grinning Jack O Lantern
Eric Draven from 'The Crow'
Pirates of The Caribbean Skull and Crossbones.
'Immortal' from 300
Oogie Boogie from Nightmare before Christmas
and Mr Freddy Kreuger.
Wish me luck - ferters to follow if this all goes to plan!

sounds really wonderfull, and i can't stand halloweenen and christmass and easter, and the like, if you fancy a knees up have a knees up, don't dress it in a frilly frock and call it a hunt ball.............. PAH! its all to do with whats to come at the end of the year, MOTHER IN LAW is comming to stay and i'm getting ready for the Xmass struggle of wills

I had a Oogie Boogie at home this Halloween. 
and 
were not that impressed though. They preferred chasing 
decorations and sleeping in the cauldron.
