That may be so, but love is also one of life's great debilitants. I know plenty of rational, sane people who have, once they've been infected with this nasty, as yet uncurable virus, gone completely off the deep end. One of my close friends met a girl (who he later made his fiancee, wedding pending) and within seventeen hours had completely lost interest in everything he'd held dear before. Gone was the attitude that everything will eventually work out. At that point in time, once he was diagnosed (which took four rounds of premium lager, three orders of wings and chips, and several tequila shooters), he accepted the fact that he was ill, thanked us all for years of friendship, and devoted himself entirely to his new life. Now he wears ironed clothes, eats heathy, and I think I caught him exercising without cause the other day. Our diagnosis was terminal. Vicious little disease, this is, and quick too.

At least Ebola has a three to seven day incubation period.

Yes, Love is a debilitating disease. But unfortuntly the cure can be quite devestating as well. When Love is removed (sugically or otherwise) it can lead to mood swings, periodic bouts of crying,and in extreme cases can lead to death. I thnk it is high time that we do something about this obnoxious little disease. Anyone that wishes to donate money to the SAL (Stamp out Love) should forward their entire bank account to me.

There was a British film many years ago called "The cure for love" after many shenannigans with one man and two girls the cure was revealed - marriage is the cure for love. God help us!

Reason?? There is no Reason when dealing with Love. It is all just silliness and a waste of time. Romantic Love that is. Love for your fellow man is understandable. But romantic Love in my experiance leads to nothing whatsoever.

I feel sorry for you Clapdrix my friend. At 74 years of age I still can feel that romantic love.

I suppose my age has a lot to do with it. 18 is kinda difficult to deal with. Maybe my opinions will change later. But right now i doubt it
