Hi, I just have a question about website links.
Is it permitted to put them on h2g2 so that others
who are interested in the subject can just go to that
page on the internet?

I have a ton of home-schooling links that could
benefit lots of people the world over. And I would
like to just add the links on one page for others to
go and check out. But I dont know if it is ok to do that.

Confussed yet again,
Jolietristan

Hi Jolietristan smiley - smiley
Welcome to my place, and thanks for dropping by.
Ok. Website links. No doubt you are aware that you cannot post links in conversations or journal entries. Also links that promote or advertise cannot be used, because it goes agains the BBC policy of 'Advertising', so where does this leave you?
basically you can set up an article, put all your links down in that, then link to the article from your personal 'space'
Voila, one page full of external links. smiley - smiley
Hope this helps, any probs, just get back to me.
You might want to do a search to see if there are any articles on your subject in the guide, and you could link to those as well. I know a number of researchers who teach their children at home, so there might be an edited article in the Guide.
By the way, your article of links is just like an extension of your 'space' so is not technically an article, but another page on your personal 'space'. neat huh? smiley - winkeye

Thanks for the info. I will have to give this some thought.
Oh, btw.. why don't you give your Home-schooling friends
my page thing, then we can work on this together.
I would like to get as much info as possible to give
a well rounded entry into the guide for all to use.
So I would welcome any and all help/info, ideas from
all who would want to contribute to it.
