Electronic Applications

I did make an alteration to the original entry a week or so ago and added in a few lines on electronic applications in response to a comment in an original forum. I was hoping to get it in before it went to the subeditors but I obviously just missed I'd appreciate it being looked over and possibly added in hopefully before it gets to the final stage of approval.

When you press submit that's what we get. It's what submit means . It's also what stops people submitting an article as soon as it's created, and then writing it during the queue period...

Someone came up with a comment in one of the forums and asked me to add in something about electronic admissions, so I eventually got around to it.
I am happy enough with the original, but the extra info might have been useful to some people.
It didn't work that way with my field hockey entry though... I submitted it in plain text but editted it a few weeks later to change it to guideML (on the advice of 26199). The final entry was remarkably similar to the amended version. Surely the shortening waiting times should reduce the temptation to work on articles after submission?

As far as I'm aware, the version we're sent is the current version at that time... it's only if you make changes whilst we've got the article that they don't show up.
I think. Wouldn't swear to it, though.

That's what I thought, and the changes were made very close to the article coming back from the subeditor so that is what I thought happened.
Thanks Anna. This should be GuideML
After the "Submitting the Form" header, under the paragraph that is there at the moment
Electronic Application
It is now possible to apply for University through what is known as their Electronic Application System. This allows you to fill in the form on a PC rather than in handwritten formSo you can make more mistakes filling it in and correct them without having to get a completely new form.. However this method is only available through a teacher or careers advisor at schools or colleges and not on an individual basis. Processing by UCAS should be faster and combined with automatic checking makes sure your application is accurate. Full instructions are available at the touch of a button and your personal statement can be longer as it is pasted directly typed into the box. More information on it can be found at the EAS section of the UCAS website
