I am coming up to the dreaded UCAS system soon but have not yet decided which subject area to go into. I have narrowed down about 10 to just 2, Business and History. Does anybody know what universities think when they see that you are not committed to just the one subject on the form?
And I have looked at duel honours. The subjects are rarely combined

What we were told when I went through the system a couple of years ago was that it wouldn't look that good, particularly if some of those courses are heavily over-subscribed. I think the only real exception is medicine -- where it's required that you apply to a non-medicine course -- and courses that are only done at one or two universities (neither of which apply to business studies or history). But I'm not a university admissions tutor so I'm not entirely sure.

It would be best to ask your teachers for confirmation on that point though.
Another idea may be to ask people who are doing history and business degrees what they think of them to maybe swing your opinion.
