The number of times the word diversity is bracketed with homosexuals is almost getting silly as everytime we are mentioned the word diverse/diversity shortly follows. Occasionally the word will be used about ethnic mionorities but it seems to be always used to bracket us.
My question is this. What does diverse/diversity actually mean? To me, the word is defined as different - ie we are different to heterosexuals and different to society. What do others think?
