i'm not allowed to post links outside h2g2, but i'm sure you'll find a run down of when each of the 120 or so episodes was originally aired, and what each episode was about if you search for Sherry's Xena Page. ...or any other popular fansite for that matter. it just takes a little effort to look.
...on the subject of the subtext: search for Hudson Leick (I think i've spelt that right) - who played the character Calisto on the show (no, i'm not sying that she's gay). She's one of the few people who were on the show who still keeps in touch with the fan base - via her own website. ...Rob Trebor (Autolycus) also keeps in touch.
