As usual I'm on my own path.

Dagnamit! I just wrote something over the course of fifteen minutes, and spent nearly as long purging it of frustration and patronizing overtones. Which is difficult when you just wrote phrases like, "…No, this isn't 'just [an] opinion,' it's a 'fallacy,' you impossible man."

Christian forums are the worst, because they're full of beastly creatures who think that accusing you (or anything outside their comfort zones) of being satanic will quell all disagreement. Sometimes, the effort of being kind and polite nearly gives me a nosebleed.

I'm tickled that this conversation has been so unexpectedly glacial.

Heavy stuff since either of us last posted here. I've buried my first partner, married my second and in the process became excruciatingly atheist. The convergence continues apace, it seems.

How about you, Hoo? I ask knowing full well that I may be in my thirties by the time I see your answer.

Blimey. I'm sorry for your loss, happy for your gain, congratulatory for your enlightenment and amused by your convergence.

And slightly sorry that I couldn't resist waiting until 2015 to answer...
