Well, I suppose that with 6 of them and a roll of tape, you could make a cube. Build a bunch of 'em and you have yourself a new (and free, if you used company tape [and duct tape is best]) desktop toy.
You know, this could get entertaining...

I hope so... hmm... do you think you could recycle them into clothing?
Here's my 2 cents
Davius the Mostly Competent Posted May 4, 2000
Probably. After all, they do recycle plastic soda bottles into jacket filler, and those light-reflecting pink tops worn by various females I've passed in life must be made out of something very close to plastic.
Hey - I bet you could use them for floor tiles! Just add a little mortar around the cracks, and you can get them in a wide variety of styles. They might also make good stress relievers. Feeling down? Squeeze one of the things in half, or pulverise it with a sledgehammer! That would work even better if they were built more like tapes. (Another medium approaching obsolescence - audio tapes! Now what else could we do with audio tapes?)
Here's my 2 cents

I usually shred audio tapes... I've always disliked the things.
You know, I was thinking... you could make a nice end table with floppies. Just take out a torch, and ever so slightly melt the floppies together, at the edges, until they're able to support a flat surface; made, of course, out of floppies.

They would also burn well; after all, plastic is made of hydrocarbons. Just tote some to the campsite, or ignite them in the office if the temperature is too low. That would also work for all of those internet trial CDs everyone gets in the mail from AOL.
(Random tangent: I've heard that if you stick a CD in the microwave and zap it with full power, there's a really neat effect. I haven't tried it yet, though.)

Hee hee hee.
(Disks also make good coasters.)

These are all great ideas.. this is what I've allways thought.
Floppy's whould make a great glassmats, don't you think? On Internet Cafés and stuff...

Yes.
They are the same... did't realize that until now... sowwy =)
But I know you can but floppys on a stick and there you have a fine swat. You also can play frisbee with them.
Here's my 2 cents
Davius the Mostly Competent Posted May 24, 2000
They'd make great chew toys for dogs or babies.
Here's my 2 cents
Snikkers Posted May 24, 2000
They can also be used to stone (flopp) atheists of Christians habitude. I'll bet it hurts less.

Davius the Mostly Competent Posted May 25, 2000
If you're going to melt them, why not make axes or something? You can make the blades out of the little metal sliding door.
Here's my 2 cents
Snikkers Posted May 25, 2000
There should be a factory that does all this stuff.. or maybe we could get patents on all the ideas and get rich... selling military stuff and entertainment stuff for dogs and stupid people.. =)
But I was wondering if floppys hold water, because if they do they could be melted into fishbowls
Here's my 2 cents
Davius the Mostly Competent Posted May 26, 2000
Yeah, but who wants a fishbowl you can't see through? You'd want to see your fish from more angles than directly above, wouldn't you?
