Not really. Maybe this fish is scared of light or he has a low self-esteem and doesn't want to be seen. Then I would be doing him a favour.

All righty then.
I suppose, along the same lines, you could recycle them into Tupperware and cookie jars and such.

Yes, I agree.
You could also glue them in your window and then you'd get nice hangings. Or you could make helmets out of them as well...

You could glue them over holes in plastic boats. On the outside, of course.

They could be used for slippers or even picture frames.

I believe it is possible to get the dye out of the plastics- much along the same lines manufactures get dye out of paper (sounds absurd, doesn't it?) and cloth.
Plastics make it possible

Maybe they could be modified into fishing lures?

Yes.
They could be used for CD-holsters. It would take more space, but I rather want my space to be taken by some CD-holsters than floppys =)

Has shelving already been mentioned? If not, you could make shelving out of the plastic. Floppies might also be nice playthings in pet cages.

Perhaps they could be recycled to make car body parts.
I still use floppys to transfer stuff I get via my proxy at work back to the house, esp if large files. Then I zip the files and span it across several disks. Realistically i should get some offsite disk space somewhere, but I don't know much about it as yet.
