A Conversation for 'Blackadder' - the TV Series

You forgot one installment in the Blackadder series, Blackadder's Christmass Carol, where he meets the 3 spirits.
In the beggining the current (and by current I mean the one that lived in the time of the original X-mass Carol) Blackadder is a kind and giving man, gradualy (by meeting the ghosts of XMass) he returns to his forfathers ways (just the oposite of the real XMass Carol).

Now as for Back and Forth, I just saw it yesterday, it is very nice,
Long Live the King (King Edmond Blackadder the 3rd, that is).

Was it in the latest (this year's) Comic Relief?
If so I missed it (actually, even if not so), too bad.
I realy do love Blackadder, BBCPrime is showing it every day (except for sunday), yesterday was the episode where the german prince (or whatever he was, the one whoslept with every one) killed all of them (Blackadder 2), I guess today will be the first episode of Blackadder the 3rd.

Just thought I'd let you know that the Cavalier episodes of Blackadder were (i think) about 3 Comic Reliefs ago - which was about 1997. Might have been the one before though..........anyone have a cunning plan on how to find out??

I have to say, I did like Blackadder Back & Forth......shame there won't be another series.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I was under the belief they were making a new series set in biblical times, with Blackadder as the 13Th disciple (spelt wrong I know), I am a huge. Blackadder fan as well, I especially like the plastic box the video tapes come in; Did you detect the sarcasm there.. Do you know what sarcasm is; like goldy and silvery only... Ha Ha..

I know the rest of this thread was written a while ago but...

I think the Comic Relief episode was probably about 1995, because I have a video which I got from PG Tips with it on. This was ages ago, so I'm guessing 1995.

I also heard the 13th disciple rumour, but I don't think it got off the ground. The latest rumour I heard was Tony Robinson saying that they were going to do an Oxbridge University type thing in the year 2009! And that Richard Curtis was happy to leave it that long.

The only other significant Blackadder "espisodes" are the original Pilot from the early 80's (I have no idea if this is available) and Blackadder: The Cavelier Years, a 15-minute Comic Relief (British bi-yearly Telethon) special from 1988. It was set during the English Civil War.

i too am a Blackadder fan. I'm 18 but have only really got into blackadder in the last 2 years. i got all my videos from MVC but i dont think you will have any difficulty getting the 4 main series from any good video shop.
i love all the series and my opinions on fave episodes etc are forever changing, but recently ive been watching loads of series 1 and i think its the overall best.

The four main series on VHS are in buy-one-get-one-free in HMV. Cghristmas Carol is also available on VHS, as is Back and forth.

The DVD box set of all four series is about fifty quid, while Christmas CArol is 12.99, as is Back and Forth, which also features the CAvalier years as an extra.

also MVC are doing a buy one get one free on blackadder videos, so a series will only cost about 12 quid instead of a hefty 24 quid or so.
