The fellow on gamespy who goes by the name Radium is an old acquaintance and colleague of mine; we are both involved in running a MUD (multi user dungeon) which is a text based fantasy hack and slash game. Fans of old infocom games like Zork or HHGG would probably like muds. You can find our mud by firing up your telnet client and going to
theland.net 5000
Radium is known as Cirque there. Give it a look.

You know Radium? Lucky you. Anyway, would you happen to know if the following is true: Did Radium really get hit by a crossfire airstrike while being chased by snarks, setting off a tripmine, stepping on a satchel charge and getting whacked with a crowbar on a german server? It sounds almost too good to be true, but it was also from planet halflife itself.

I can't let that go without saying that MUDs are indeed a really cool form of entertainment, and the one at cardea-rpg.com:23 (or go to http://www.cardea-rpg.com ) is very cool indeed. Be nice to Dynamis, 'cause that's me .
