Considering all the games out, I think that's a good idea.
I would never buy action figures for ANY gamne.

Normally, I'd feel the same way, except these action figures were different. They kicked ass!
Except for the spider, which fired "venom" (i.e. a flourescent plastic rocket). That was as shitty as it sounds. Actually, probably more so.

A spider firing what is essentially a rocket? Oh dear...ah well! What can you do?

The figure of the Umbrella SWAT bloke was pretty crappy. Had really thin arms and legs, so he looked like a stick insect. He had the super shotgun, though, so that was kinda cool.
I could never get anywhere on Resi Evil 1. Embarassing but true.

Me and Ed Hunter (On h2g2) actually put our heads to Resi 1 and got out of the mansion...then we got bored *^_^*

Kept getting to the point where you go down that lift in the garden and a big dog jumps out and eats you. Or me. Whatever. Actually, the thing that killed Resi 1 for me was that I'd already played and finished Resi 2, which:
A) Was a much cooler game, and
B) Had all the bosses and cool monsters from Resi 1 turning up all the time throughout the game. Which spoils things a bit. A licker busts through a window, and it's not "OHMYGOD what the hell is that - AARRGHH!!!", it's raise-shotgun-and-whack-the-bugger.

Well, I'd used the guide for Resi 2, so nothing was too much of a shock for me *^_^*

Think I'm gonna admit defeat on Resi 3 and have a sneaky look at one of those Playstation Solution books in WH Smiths.
I thought the moth in Resi 2 was a bit surprising. You just walk into the room and the bugger merges into the background. Brrr.

I don't remember a moth. Now you mention it, I do remember a moth, but can recall nothing about it. Just the fact that there's a mothn in the game. You understand, don't you?

Yeah.
The room with the moth had nice music as well.
Actually, those green lickers in the secret lab. What was the deal with them? Were they super-lickers, or what?

I don't remember a thing! I remember some really wierd guys walking round the lab though - I think I plugged acid rounds into them or something *^_^*

The diseased scientists, milling about in their lab? Think I shot them with the Super Magnum. Their heads smashed apart like watermelons >. See, that's why Dino Crisis could never be as cool as Resi - you can't do s**t like that to dinosaurs, they're just too damn big. I suppose you could wedge oxygen tanks in their mouths, like the crocodile in Resi 2, but you couldn't do it over and over again. At least, I don't think you could.

I doubt you'd be able to do anything remotely interesting. I guess it'd be the standard "see me hit you - you fall down"...
Guess who been listening to Guns N Roses
Hey, you been able to get to the new WH40K thread?

RadiO Posted Jul 4, 2000
Ah. I don't know about that. Where is it?

You caught it
I been playing Resi 3 myself now...I included my thoughts in the new guide entry I wrote about the series. Although this morning I played it again and took a magnum to the Nemisis...floored him, but then he got back up and killed me!
You been away a long time. Whassup?
