Clothing repair, for one. Also exellent for performance art. I've seen it used to hold the neck onto a guitar too. (although the sound quality was not good)Patches holes in drums. (when someone overexcited puts the sticks through the skin) Also holding internal components of my CD player in place right now.

AMC-made Jeep vehichles have *factory installed* duct tape--it's as if they tossed a roll of the stuff into the Jeep at the beginning of the assembly line, and expected it to be used up by the end of the line.

My dad, an air-conditioning installer (in Wal-Marts, etc) claims to have actually used duct tape on A/C duct!

Duct Tape and a lollipop when used together make a great babysitting tool.
