As a Mountaineer I for one am never with out large amounts of duct tape, i is wrapped around numerous objects, eg flask and walking pole. Ready for quick deployment when required. and is the primary componant to many of my garments. It has aslo served im in many times of need, such as reparing Crampons half way up a scottish mountain in a blizzard.
