The Velveeta Cheese Box also plays an important role in the culture of middle and lower class America. Many young kids saved their baseball cards in a Velveeta Box. Others saved matchbox cars or parts to models.
The Velveeta Box also made a nice casket for burying a sister's barbie doll in the backyard.

tee hee. Myself, I have more vivid memories of the Prince Spaghetti boxes. The one thing I remember most about the big velveeta loaves was that my mom had a Tupperware thing that was made *specifically* to hold a big velveeta. Apparently it was supposed to look classier in the fridge in a tupperware than in the box.
