This is not cheese. It does not resemble cheese. Why would someone not actually use cheese and ingest it, rather than some chemical coloured fat block?

Well personally,
I really like the taste of Velveeta cheese (nacho's taste great with it). I like Cheese Wiz too and Im especially fond of the cheese in the aerosol can. And I beleive it has more to do with personal taste preferences than anything else. I know it's not REAL cheese. But I don't go to Taco Bell because they have great Mexican food either. It's tasty for what it is. That's all.
My favorite real cheese is muenster.

I like those "Nacho Cheese Flavour Doritos", I maintain they are the "breakfast of champions" washed down with a half pint of commercial grade dilute coffee at he office. Sort of cheesy - some sort of cheese-like product in there. Can eat with one hand and type with the other.
I really like cheese, I would like to see more variety commonly available everywhere in N. America. A good cheddar (properly aged, etc. not the rubbery kind of the same name), or gruyere is great for melting on things. Muenster is great too - on some french bread, especially if you get a really nice (smelly) one made from raw milk. I go nuts over french cheese - Bring on the fromages! Great with a glass of wine.

The aerosol cheese has the advantage of being able to make those icing funnel shapes and swirls. Though I presently consume no dairy, I'm not sure theese fall in that category.
