Ooohhh...a nice girl, eh...glad to see the mad Dane look has paid off
You know...before I returned to school...I had something like 50-60 regular penpals...and that was in the day of snail mail! I took letter writing to an incredible level. But...now I am studying instead of writing. I have all my letters (even the ones I wrote...I used to make copies for myself...yeah, I know...a bit over the top...) and someday I am going to make a book out of them.
The weather here has turned delightful...just when my schedule is about to get frantic. Oh well...at least the tourists will be gone soon and I will have the lighthouse to myself again

I doubt it were the looks. Maybe I should ask her? And then again: Maybe not...
It is a complicated relationship though. She lives far from me (one and a half hour by train) and this week I am even further away - sitting in a cellar filled with computers to try and learn the mysteries of website-editing (HTML) - while a sudden late summer warms the countryside.
But I am seeing her again saturday

Bummer about the long distance relationship. Those can be a real trial. But, persevere! Back in days of old, relationships were often long distance and such sweet friendships would develop when physical contact was limited...and I think friendship is the very best basis for love.
Got a bunch of extension cords so you can drag those computers outside and enjoy the late summer sun??? I can't wait to get my notebook computer back so I can write while lying in the hammock!

You could be right. I got the first posting from you on may 11 - and you still seem very friendly
No extension cords here - but boy is it hot! 17 computers in a cellar-room with no real aircondition...
But in a few minutes we will all be partying upstairs as it is the last night we are together here. Don't wait up

Hi again!
Not much of a party, but it didn't really matter. I believe it saved me from doing some of the things you do
After the weekend I had two days off, so I got to spend 4 and a half day in Copenhagen. Almost like a holiday! Now I'm back at "Ye olde treadmill", but in only 2 and a half weeks I'll be back in school again so I'd better start practicing the new skills - that I haven't actually learned yet... HTML is not exactly my cup of tea. After learning so many different computer-systems I think I need at least one that is not changed for say 20 years!

I thought it might be this. I was going to look for it in oldhootoo but you beat me to it (I had a cinema date)
Thanks for digging it up, maybe I can get in touch with Ms Z this way, haven't heard from her in ages!
I remember sorting out old threads some years ago, this must be the oldest of the ones I didn't delete/leave
