You are OK to ask Capt'n
W**k was fab but very very busy - really enjoyed what I was doing but was away from howe a lot. Know I was doing a great job and making a real difference too - I even got to talk at a national conference about what I do
Then the company went and sold half of itself and we have to restructure. I had to change what I do - work on that and then come the summer find myself a new job In the meantime I am living away from home full time.
Apart from w**k life has been good. I have stage directed two plays and a musical, stage managed several shows and been on the management committee of our local theatre.
On top of all that I have been making lots of things which I have been enjoying - if you like exploring a different side of my creativity.
However with being away from home all the time all my theatre stuff and other creative stuff are on hold and I am missing them!
So once I have my w**k sorted out and got my life back I am sure life will return to a better place
So what has been happening with anyone else?

you are so creative and industrious i can't keep up
nothing much has happened here - as a clear result of that
everything seems to be same old same old, but i can't complain. still enjoy life, the universe and everything - why even my w*rk is included rofl>
my daughter is in hanoi, vietnam, teaching english to first graders who only speak vietnamese - of which she knows absolutely nothing
interesting experience, to say the least. she just travelled south through the country and celebrated the vietnamese new year. i'm so glad she is having a good time
both sons are still studying and w*rking. haven't heard from them for weeks. think i'll give them a ring later today

Sounds like an amazing experience for your daughter! And your sons sound not unlike every other teenager I know of

actually they aren't teenagers anymore
and daughter is pleased that the vietnamese regard her as being 20 already, even if her 20th birthday is still 9 days away. they count from the day of her conception, you see

I've only got one teenager, and he's pretty good... so far.
I have a long time until I'm teenager-free.

ha! you should try to be in my shoes
nah, 'taint that bad really. in fact i'm mildly flabbergasted about how good i feel, all things considered. never anticipated this when i was younger
and about those shoes: the old native americans have this saying: before you judge a fellow human you should walk 20 miles in his moccasins. that way you are 20 miles away from him when you tell him the truth - *plus*: you have his shoes

No, sadly, she's not around these parts. I try to spread out my fascination with hootoo to anyone who'll stand still long enough to listen, but she's not been swayed.
She plans on getting a tattoo of a peg leg, when she's old enough to do that on her own. dedicating that whole leg to pirate themed tattoos. I'm getting old before my time. The other teenage girl is a relatively normal boy crazy type.
